• Morning Drinker Detained

    After the sixth Crescentwood home was vandalized, police finally located the culprit with the broken liquor bottle who was apprehended and taken into police custody. Ralph Shane Knott remains detained until probably tomorrow or maybe a couple hours ago. Until then it is recommended that you roll over and do nothing because what else will you do? Anything?

    No one was injured and damages are estimated to be around only $25,000. Thank god.

  • HELLEBUYCK IS AMERICAN!

    Some Winnipeggers are distraught today to discover that formerly cherished Winnipeg Jets goaltender, Connor Hellebuyck, is a thirty-three-year-old American man from the United States of America. The controversy surrounding his stellar performance at the Milano Cortina Olympics, which propelled the Stars and Stripes to their first Olympic hockey Gold in forty-six years, has only intensified after the two-time Vezina- and Hart Trophy-winning star’s recent appearance on CBS’s Celebrity Family Feud, where he stood alongside American teammates and won $25,000 for the USA Hockey Foundation. How terrible! How selfish! How American!

    Recent rumours of the goaltender’s prospective trade continue to swirl, leaving Jets fans wondering if GM Kevin Cheveldayoff will buyck up and pull the trigger. We asked one hundred Winnipeggers if they supported a Hellebuyck trade, and the survey says….!

  • A Real Pickle(ball)

    A handful of baby boomers are upset today over plans to develop a pickleball court in Winnipeg’s Henteleff Park. Strangely, concerns over the apartment building they plan to build with it are comparatively hushed.

  • Winnipeg Walloped!

    The city of Winnipeg was walloped Thursday morning by a blizzard we all thought would last a little longer. Within minutes of the blizzard’s onset, city buses came to stops in the streets and the power grid more or less didn’t care except for parts of Fort Garry.
